This site is a tribute to Janet Abbott. Janet Abbott in the early hours of Sunday lost her 18-month fight against the evil that is Cancer.
 
Many of you will have worked with Janet over the 26 years she was working here at PTN as our senior DBA and know just so highly regarded Janet was both professionally and personally, Janet just loved her work and the people she worked with.

She was so sad when her mind and hands would not work as she demanded. She felt she had to stop work, not for herself, but before she could not meet her own high expectations of herself and she could not bear the thought of making mistakes and letting people down. As you know she carried on until she could not carry on. I know how much work meant to her because as she stopped work so did her brightness and love for all things to do with computers.

We will all  miss her talking about her work and her love for her work. I am as you all are, missing her.
